Thursday Friendlies

We play every Thursday afternoon usually starting at 14:00 and finishing around 16:30 in friendly (but competitive) matches against other clubs in and around Leicester.

We can accommodate up 6 rinks (24 players) and usually aim to play at least 5 triples (15 players). All members of the club not matter what experience or ability our welcome to represent the club in our Thursday Friendlies - its a great way to improve your game and enjoy your bowls. 

Matches are 18 ends, visitor's jack, 1 on the first twos ends. The winner is determined by the total points scored by each club.

For home games we break for tea, cake and biscuits after 10 ends. The cost for the day is £3.50 which includes entry to the raffle which is drawn at the end of the game. Half of the proceeds for the raffle will be donated to our club charity, the Guide Dogs for the Blind.

We hope our guests can stay for a drink and a chat at the end of the games.
